Last year, I ran a campaign to raise money to aid transgender youth in the UK (it's tough out here and getting worse) - and even though I'm now in other employment, I want to do that again!
This will serve as the info-hub since I can put all of the details here, and just link back from sites with smaller space to spell things out.
Services I will be using are; Tiltify, Twitch, Google Forms, Discord and this site.

CHARITY
Mermaids is a charity based in the UK which supports transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse children, young people, and their families. Navigating the space, especially as a young and vulnerable person or an unaware carer, can be difficult or scary!
"Over the years, we’ve seen many changes in the language and understanding surrounding gender issues but one thing remains the same: transgender, nonbinary and gender-diverse children deserve the freedom and confidence to explore their gender identity wherever their journey takes them, free from fear, isolation and discrimination."
Getting help has been getting increasingly more frustrating (or expensive if you must turn to private healthcare), and with the American 'Culture Wars' hitting British politics alongside continued public spending cuts, that's only ramped up in the past couple of years. I can't imagine how that feels to watch as someone still finding their identity, it's hard to watch as a trans adult.
As someone who went through the system nearly a decade ago, I can attest to how tiring it is to repeatedly teaching doctors and teachers about how to look after you. Mermaids have been standing in and standing up for our youngsters and lending a hand in becoming their authentic selves since 1995.
THE EVENT
It's a twitch stream!
Hosted on my channel friththetraveller, where I usually make a fool of myself being a sub-par gamer in cosy farming, cutesy vibes, and horrifying post-apocalypse situations, while chatting utter nonsense. Also, I sometimes draw on stream or host a space for co-studying.
The event will be starting 1PM on November 20th
and will go for 24+ hours into the 21st
I have a rough schedule including breaks for food and some of the stream rewards and milestones; including raffles, chatting, potential costume changes, and on-stream penalties for myself.
The main gimmick this time will be a rehyped rerun of something I did for a team fundraising event:
Donors will pick what I'm playing
There is a special £50 donation category which will fill one of a limited number of programming slots, where the donor can pick from a list of games I own, and the next hour slot will be chosen.
I will start by playing the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, a revamp of the games which made up a large part of my childhood downtime, and it's donor's choice from then on! See below for the list!
For transparency, my Twitch channel has a mature rating; I don't often get graphic, but I do swear and we can have pretty candid discussions about life and our mental health. It's a safe space for anyone to sit and watch art or games. I'll give a warning before I get into anything too hard but my cuss-filter hasn't existed for years - sorry!

The majority of these things are remaining stock from when I used to hold stalls at Comic Con and Pride events, so some are a little dated, with artwork over 5 years old, but the vast majority are in great condition.

these artworks are left from all kinds of events; various fan works and original works - some historically inspired, in varying degrees of sensible!
some of these artworks are pretty old now, so they are mostly signed as previous screennames.
a few of the older pieces are on a lower quality paper, but the majority are on heavier gloss.
Stickers & Sticker blanks
these stickers are made of print-quality paper, hand-cut and a backed in adhesive using a scrapbooking roller.
the figures' dimensions are from 3 to 6 cm in both dimensions.
there are also multiple sticker blanks, both pre-cut and still on smaller sheet paper.
